Barbara started her business in 1999 when a friend asked her to make a tied polar fleece blanket
for her daughter's new baby. Having never seen one, she added her own style by pinking the edges. Barbara rediscovered her
love of fabrics, color and sewing. She started creating other polar fleece products including a polar fleece blanket for adults
using handpaninted yarns as a fringe accent.
She entered and was accepted to her first art fair in the spring of 2000.
Since that time Barbara has pursued her passion for designing practical polar fleece children's clothing using adorable fleece
prints. She continues to expand the line and find new and different ways to make cozy polar fleece products you and your family
will love.
